Amitabh Bachchan and Taapsee Pannu starrer Badla has opened to a positive response at the box office. After enjoying a huge opening weekend, the movie remained rock-steady on its first Monday at the ticket windows. The Sujoy Ghosh thriller raked in Rs 3.75 crore and now stands with the grand total of Rs 26.95 crore.

Noted film critic and tarde analyst Taran Adarsh shared the box-office collection of the film.He wrote, “#Badla is very strong on Day 4… A healthy Mon is a clear indicator that the film is here to stay… Lack of major opposition [till Kesari] will prove beneficial… Fri 5.04 cr, Sat 8.55 cr, Sun 9.61 cr, Mon 3.75 cr. Total: ₹ 26.95 cr. India biz. Gross BOC: ₹ 31.80 cr.” The good numbers on Monday are a clear indication that it will have a steady run in the weekdays. Looking at the current scenario, we are expecting the film to earn around Rs 35 crore in its first week at the ticket windows.
Despite clash with Brie Larson’s Captain Marvel. Badla raked decent collections. Badla is the Hindi remake of the Spanish blockbuster, The Invisible Guest. Critics have loved Amitabh Bachchan, Taapsee Pannu and Amrita Singh’s performance in the film.
