Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2 review: Anees Bazmee film invites comparison with the original, but as Ruhaan Randhawa (Karthik Aryan), Reet Thakur (Kiara Advani) and Tabu manage to hold their ground, this is helped by a strong performance Is.
Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2 Box Office Total Collection Review
Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2 definitely falls into this category as the first film starring Akshay Kumar and Vidya Balan became a
resounding hit at the box office and has acquired somewhat of a cult status over the years. Kiara is trying to recreate the same magic with Advani and Tabu lending a capable support.
Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2 Story
Ruhaan Randhawa is a kid-faced badass and yet, the formidable Thakur clan falls for his rookie black-magic tricks, especially the well-heeled Reet Thakur.
Ruhaan and Reet end up in a deserted mansion, where Manjulika’s spirit is believed to have been held captive for 18 years. And in no time, Ruhaan transforms into Rooh Baba and makes people believe that he can talk to ghosts and the spirits of the dead. What happens when he accidentally throws out the spirit that has been there for years? is it close? Will Manjulika take her revenge? Will Rooh Baba be able to handle the situation with his heroic antics?
Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2 Review
“Down in ‘Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2’ camp for writer Akash Kaushik and director Anees Bazmee, that thread takes its own life Yes, we all have our own thoughts and feelings about this sequel Takes you back to the 2009 movie and you compare again. Still, Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2 is a new story and it holds its ground. I am glad that Anees Bazmee has not only resorted to jump scares to fit it into the horror genre, but there are genuine moments of ‘Hunting Encounter’ that leave you stunned. Given that the director also has a strong hold on the comedy genre,
There is no dearth of comedy in Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2 with films like No Entry, Welcome, Singh Is Kinng. Here’s the best thing I’ve found in a long time. Watching the audience laugh so out loud at the clean jokes that most enjoy the smooth landing.

Although it would be criminal to compare Aryan to Kumar – the former may have felt the pressure on his last bone given Kumar’s level of success in 2007 – but there is a relentless humming voice that sounds like a broken record. I saw that in Mahila, then in Roohi and now in Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2. C’mon, ghosts looked better in the ’80s and ’90s and actually looked scary without the zombie-like change. I wish Bazmee would pay a little more attention to that department and bring some innovation. Among other supporting cast, Sanjay Mishra, Ashwini Kalsekar and Rajesh Sharma bring in some hilarious moments. Milind Gunanji and Amar Upadhyay also have important parts but in the very limited screen time, we don’t see them bringing much to the table. Chola actor Siddhant Ghegdamal as Potlu is quite refreshing and picks up some dull scenes.
