The smartphone comes with features like 5.5-inch full-HD (1080x1920p) IPS display, a 13MP primary snapper along with 5MP selfie camera and microSD support of up to 128GB. While the style of a cell phone are a subjective matter, we found the look and feel of Intex Aqua GenX exceptionally charming. The white and silver hued cell phone is rectangular fit as a fiddle with adjusted corners and is polished to take a gander at. The front stays commanded by the presentation and on flipping the telephone, you see the non-removable plastic back board of the telephone with a camera and LED streak. The Intex logo lies directly underneath it.

Interestingly, you can hide the haptic keys of the smartphone when you don’t wish to use them. The smartphone also came with thick bezels, something that we are not used to seeing too often now. Intex Aqua GenX weighs around 175grams and feels a little heavy when held in the hands for a long period. We were impressed by the phone’s basic look and feel.

Display

The Intex Aqua GenX 5.5-inch FHD IPS touchscreen display which showed bright vibrant colours. We observed no pixilation in the display of the smartphone and the viewing angles were also accurate. In our experience of the phone, the display was responsive but, we found the screen to be somewhat reflective, which hampered user experience. The colours and the brightness of Intex Aqua GenX are also apt. Overall, we found the display of the phone to be good.

Hardware

Intex Aqua GenX is powered by 1.3GHz MT6753 octa-core processor with 2GB RAM under the hood. It comes with 16GB of internal storage and users expand the available storage by installing microSD cards of up to 128GB.

The smartphone packs a 2,800mAh battery and comes with 4G connectivity, a feature getting increasingly common in this price band now. Other connectivity features of the phone include 3G, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, GPS and microUSB.

Camera

The smartphone sports a 13MP rear camera with LED flash and a 5MP selfie camera. The primary snapper takes good images in normal indoor lights. The colours of the objects remained close to real like and even the contrast seemed decent. Even on zooming in, we did not notice any noise. Speaking of the front facing camera, it did a decent job too, and once we turned the beauty feature on, the quality of images immediately went up.
